Keywords can be used to help a page appear on the site's search page, and also on search engines. To add keywords:

  1. login
  2. edit the page
  3. manage the page properties
  4. click the "custom attributes" tab
  5. choose "Meta Keywords" from the custom attributes drop-down
  6. Add the keywords separated by a space, ie: "table chair sunglasses"
  7. Save and publish the page
How do I add links to a page?
    Linking to an internal page
  1. Log into Moja and navigate to the page
  2. Click Edit on the Moja toolbar
  3. Click Edit inside the block where you wish to link text
  4. Highlight the text, or image, you want to link
  5. Click the right/site link icon
  6. Click on the page to link (expand folders to find pages)
    Linking to an external page
  1. Log into Moja and navigate to the page
  2. Click Edit on the Moja toolbar
  3. Click Edit inside the block where you wish to link text
  4. Highlight the text, or image, you want to link
  5. Click the left/External link icon
  6. Paste the full url (must include https://)
  7. If applicable, use the Target field to open in a new tab.
  8. Use the Title field to add a hover/roll over title for the link.
    Linking to an email
  1. Login and navigate to the page where you want to set an email link
  2. Click Edit on the Moja toolbar
  3. Click Edit inside the block where you wish to set the link
  4. Highlight the text or image you want to link
  5. Click the External link icon (left)
  6. For the Link URL, type mailto:emailaddress@url.com (with no spaces)
  7. For the Target, leave it as None
  8. For the Title, you may include "Email" or something similar, which will show on hover (optional)
  9. Click Insert.
How do I add images to a page?
    uploading images
  1. log in to Moja
  2. click the Files button on the Moja toolbar
  3. click Add
  4. choose the image from your computer/etc
  5. click Upload

  3. click More (to the right of Upload)

  1. navigate to the desired page and click Edit
  2. click inside the content block you wish to place an image and choose Edit from the pop-up window
  3. click on an existing image to select it (if you're replacing) or place the curser where you would like the image to populate
  4. click the Image icon in the toolbar
  5. identify the image you would like to use in the file manger, click on the image and select Choose (note: if your image isn't yet in the file manager, add the image first)
  6. click Update

How do I take a page offline?

Within Moja, you can take the page offline and make it unaccessible to viewers unless they are logged into Moja. This attribute will help you to access and work on a page without publishing it to the internet. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  1. Login and go into the Dashboard
  2. Click Sitemap (in the upper right of the Moja edit bar)
  3. Click on the page you wish to hide (take offline)
  4. Click Properties from the pop-up window
  5. Click Custom Attributes on the next window
  6. Next to Custom Attributes, click the drop-down menu and select Hide this page
How do I edit the special properties of a page?
How do I move a page in the navigation menu?

Moja allows you to relocate (or move) a webpage in realtime. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Login to Moja and click 'Dashboard' in the top/right of the Moja toolbar
  2. Click 'Site Map' on the left column
  3. Find the page(s) you want to move/relocate
  4. Hover over the pages icon (to the left of the page name) until it turns it a crosshair symbol
  5. Click on the 'icon' and drag it into it's new location (Note: You'll see a thin/horizontal/black line signifying new/possible locations. Also, you must drop a page into a folder BEFORE relocating it inside that folder.)
  6. Choose to 'Move' into it's new location, or choose 'Copy' in order to create a completely new version
  7. Click 'Go'
How do I exclude a page from the navigation menu?

Within Moja, you can exclude a page from the navigation, which will keep the page online and accessible, but remove it from all drop down and side menus. To access, you will need provide a link from another page or send the link directly to viewers. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  1. Login and go into the Dashboard.
  2. Click Sitemap (in the upper right of the Moja edit bar).
  3. Click on the page you wish to exclude from navigation.
  4. Click Properties from the pop-up window.
  5. Click the Custom Attributes tab.
  6. Next to Custom Attributes, click the drop-down menu and select Exclude from nav.
  7. Check the box next to the provided field.
  8. Click Save.
How do I redirect a page?

Note: Pages setup to redirect will NOT be redirect while logged into Moja, which allows you to access the page for updates. An easy way to confirm a redirect is performing (without logging out of Moja) is to try navigating to the page in another browser.

  1. login to Moja and click 'Dashboard' in the top/right of the toolbar
  2. click 'Sitemap' in the left column
  3. find and click on the page that you want to apply the redirect (i.e. to have viewers pass over this page and land on another)
  4. choose 'Properties' click the 3rd tab titled 'Custom Attributes'
  5. from the top drop down menu, choose 'Redirect To' (if selected once before, it may already be available on the tab)
  6. to redirect to an INTERNAL site page, type or paste the path of the page (i.e. everything that follows the '.org' or '.com' - the path for the MISSION page under ABOUT would be '/about/mission')
  7. to redirect to an EXTERNAL website, type or paste the entire URL
  8. click 'Save'
How do I permanently delete a page?

You can easily delete pages in the Moja Dashboard; however, you cannot undo this action. So please double check before deleting!

  1. Login and click Dashboard (at the top/right).
  2. Click Sitemap.
  3. Find the page or blog post by expanding folders.
  4. Click on the page/post.
  5. Select Delete and confirm.
How do I duplicate page?
  1. login and go to Dashboard
  2. locate the page in the Sitemap
  3. click on the icon to the left of the page title (folder or paper)
  4. drag the page on top of any other page
  5. choose to copy the page, or copy the page and it's children (sub pages)
  6. once Moja duplicates the page(s), click on the page's icon again and move it/them into the correct position

Specialized pages

How do I manage a calendar page?

With Moja, you can sync a calendar page with a Google calendar. To do so, make sure you have a Google account with at least one calendar populated with events. Then, follow the steps below.

    Part 1 - creating a calendar page
  1. login to Moja and navigate to the 'parent' page for your calendar (i.e. if you're linking a calendar page from the homepage, stay on the homepage; if you're creating a calendar under another page - say your 'Events' page - navigate to the Events page)
  2. click 'Add Page'
  3. choose the 'Calendar' page template
  4. type a page name/title
  5. if you do not want the page to be seen in the main navigation, click on the 'Custom Attributes' tab and choose 'Exclude from Nav' from the Custom Attributes drop-down menu and check the box that appears
  6. click 'Update'
  7. roceed to Part 2 to integrate the calendar with your Google calendar
    Part 2 - make your google calendar public
  1. login to your Google account and click on the button with the nine small squares next to your name in the top/right
  2. click on the 'Calendar' icon
  3. in the left column, hover over the calendar you intend to use (create a calendar if needed) and click on the small triangle-inside-a-box
  4. select 'Share this Calendar'
  5. underneath 'Share the calendar with others,' select 'Make this calendar public' and set the menu to the right to 'See all event details'
  6. click 'save' at the bottom
    Part 3 - inserting the google id
  1. login to your Google account
  2. go to 'Calendar' in the top menu/row
  3. click on the arrow symbol next to the specific calendar (on the left column) that you wish to sync
  4. choose 'Calendar Settings' from the pop-up window
  5. copy the link Google ID (email address only) located to the right of the blue HTML button
  6. navigate to your site and login to Moja
  7. go to your site's Calendar page and click 'Edit' on the Moja toolbar
  8. click inside the calendar block and choose 'Edit'
  9. paste the Google ID feed in the 'URL' field
  10. click 'Update'

Moja enables you to create a media page with audio and video. To do so, you will create a video page, and then attach (separate) audio files.

You may also add individual videos (from Vimeo, YouTube, etc) on any page but pasting the "embed" code into the content or html block.

    Adding a media page
  1. Navigation to the parent page (the page above) where you wish to place your media page
  2. Click 'Add a Page'
  3. Choose the 'Video' page type
  4. Title the page and click 'Add'
  5. Click on the video block in the center of the page and choose 'Edit'
  6. In the 'Type' field, make sure 'video' is selected
  7. In the 'tags' field, type the tag associated with the video files to be displayed on this page (i.e. sermons)
  8. Click 'Update'
  9. Click 'Exit Edit Mode' and choose to 'Publish' or 'Preview'

Uploading videos to Vimeo

If you don't already have a Vimeo account, you must create an account at vimeo.com, which serves to host and play your videos. Once your account is setup, you'll need to upload your videos to Vimeo.

Once you've setup your vimeo account, please send the vimeo page to help@moja.com and we'll setup your site to automatically pull in your videos.

    Applying settings for each video (on vimeo)
  1. Title - set the title exactly how you want it to display on your site
  2. Tags - to filter groups of video to a webpage, add a unique tag to each video (i.e. #sermons, #extras, #leadership)
  3. Series - add #[Series Title Here] in the tag field (Required for using the Sermon Series page.)
  4. Date - add #MM/DD/YYYY to the tag field
  5. Thumbnail - upload 560 x 315 images to Vimeo and select as the thumbnail for the video
  6. Description - set the description exactly how you want it to display on your site
  7. Author - use @First_Last to the tag field (i.e. @John_Smith will display as John Smith). If an author is not applied, Moja will use your Vimeo account name as the author.

Attaching audio (optional)

I've made a change to a vimeo file, how do I re-import it into moja?

Moja only automatically imports "new" videos uploaded to Vimeo and does not import "changed" videos.

    You can force the updated file to import by following these steps
  1. update the necessary settings in Vimeo
  2. login to Moja and click 'Files'
  3. click on the video you wish to re-import from Vimeo and choose 'Delete'
  4. Your updated video(s) will be imported during the next scheduled import (usually every :15 minutes)
